Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to maintain counter sales and customer service for firearms and related hunting merchandise. You will greet customers, assess needs, and guide them to suitable products while ensuring compliance with 4473 forms and store policies.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, customer engagement, and accurate handling of firearms in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with firearms and ammunition products.
• Knowledge of ATF Federal and State Regulations.
• Customer service and sales experience with firearms and ammunition.
• Knowledge of the Gun Control Act (GCA) and compliance.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with firearm purchases.
• Provide product recommendations and guidance.
• Complete 4473 forms accurately and promptly.
• Demonstrate products to customers when needed.
• Maintain firearms and hunting merchandise on the floor.
• Replenish stock and keep shelves organized.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• All other duties as assigned.
