Rural King is seeking a Firearms Sales Associate to provide knowledgeable customer service while assisting customers with firearms, ammunition, and related products. You will help ensure compliance with laws and safety standards while delivering accurate information and friendly service.

Ideal candidates will have prior firearms or sporting goods retail experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to process transactions accurately in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior firearms sales, sporting goods, or retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of firearms, ammunition, safety practices, and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and identify their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Provide knowledgeable product information and recommendations for firearms and related items.
• Assist customers with firearms, ammunition, accessories, and related products.
• Process sales, returns, payments, and required documentation via POS system.
• Support promotions, upselling, cross-selling, and loyalty program awareness.
• Follow all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to firearms sales and transfers.
• Maintain clean, organized displays and accurate pricing.
• Stay current on products and training; participate in cross-training.
