Job summary

Terex Corporation in New York is seeking an assembler to perform a range of assembly and troubleshooting tasks for fire truck components. The role requires reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs and schematics, and assembling harnesses, switch panels, electrical and mechanical components.

You will program lighting systems per engineering specs, troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC systems, and conduct functional testing while diagnosing faults.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Experience with 12V DC and 110V AC electrical systems preferred.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electrical and mechanical components.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs and schematics.
• Program lighting systems per engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC systems.
• Perform repairs and rebuilds on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct functional testing and diagnose faults.
• Trace wiring, repair connections and replace components as needed.
• Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs and shop orders.
• Support equipment setup and changeovers.
