Job summary

Terex Corporation's E-ONE division in New York is seeking a hands-on assembler and troubleshooter to perform a wide range of assembly and testing on custom fire trucks. You will read blueprints, install harnesses and panels, and program lighting systems according to engineering specifications.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, ability to interpret documentation, and a bias toward quality. We value lean thinking and adaptability across tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (12V DC & 110V AC).
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred).
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation independently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs and schematics.
• Assemble and install harnesses, switch panels, electrical and mechanical components.
• Program lighting systems per engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC systems.
• Perform repairs and rebuilds on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct functional testing and diagnose faults.
• Trace wiring, repair connections and replace components as needed.
• Perform equipment setup and changeovers.
• Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs and shop orders.
