Job summary

Total Safety is seeking a Fire Technician II to perform service inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire protection equipment across on-site and offshore environments. Responsibilities include documenting work for invoicing, conducting system tests, and providing safety-conscious service.

Qualifications

• Must understand applicable OSHA/NFPA regulations for fire protection work.
• Knowledge of CFR/Coast Guard/ABS regulations for offshore work where applicable.
• Experience installing conduit (rigid/EMT) and performing wire pulls.
• Trained in PPE usage and respiratory protection; Fit Tested where required.

Responsibilities

• Performs shop or field inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire equipment and systems.
• Completes inspection/repair documentation with customer signatures for invoicing.
• Conducts visual inspections and functional tests; reports deficiencies and recommendations.
• Pre-job, job update, and post-job briefs; maintains accurate records.
