ServiceMaster CDR in Ohio is seeking an experienced Fire & Contents Restoration Technician to join our elite team. You’ll perform hands-on restoration work, including fire and smoke damage repair, contents cleaning, and debris removal.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in fire or smoke damage restoration (residential or commercial).
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
• Solid customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in challenging spaces, and wear PPE when required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Tech-savvy and able to use mobile devices and job-tracking software.
• IICRC FSRT & OCT certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of fire and smoke damage restoration, including demolition, cleaning, equipment setup, pack-outs, and debris removal.
• Safely pack, move, clean, and restore fire-damaged belongings and commercial contents.
• Operate restoration tools and equipment with proper care.
• Document job progress, inventory, and customer interactions using restoration software.
• Collaborate with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and project leads for quality service.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the worksite and keep vehicles/equipment organized.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies as needed.

• Perform all aspects of fire and smoke damage restoration, including demolition, structural cleaning, contents cleaning, equipment setup, pack-outs, and debris removal
• Safely pack, move, clean, and restore fire-damaged personal belongings and commercial contents
• Operate a variety of restoration tools and equipment, ensuring proper use and care
• Accurately document job progress, inventory, and customer interactions using restoration software (e.g., Contents Track, iCAT, Restore 365)
• Work directly with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and project leads to ensure smooth, high-quality service delivery
• Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and professional worksite, and keep company vehicles and equipment ready and organized
• Participate in on‑call rotations and respond to emergency situations as needed
