Job summary

Wiginton Corp is seeking a qualified Pre-Engineered & Extinguisher Technician for its Fort Myers, Florida office. This role supports the Service & Inspections Division through installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire suppression systems and extinguishers.

Qualified candidates will hold multiple permits and have a minimum of 4 years of experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) match, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Florida Pre-Engineered Suppression System Permit mandatory.
• Florida Fire Extinguisher Permit required.
• Minimum 4 years of related industry experience necessary.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 10, 17, 17A, and 96 standards.
• Experience working in commercial and industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and installations on fire suppression systems.
• Inspect and maintain portable fire extinguishers.
• Complete inspection reports and service documentation.
• Communicate project status and recommendations with stakeholders.
• Maintain all required certifications and licenses.
