Job summary

Pyro-CommSystems, Inc. is hiring a Fire Systems Project Manager with experience in fire alarm installation, life safety, and low voltage construction.

You will manage projects from planning to commissioning, coordinating with sales, engineering, service, and field teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance. The role emphasizes strong communication, documentation, and staff management, with a focus on customer relations and quality execution in a growing team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years proficient installationskills and understanding of fire alarm systems.
• 3-5 years project management experience in fire alarm, lifesafety, DAS, MDU, or low voltage construction.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and work plans.
• Assign tasks and manage resources to meet project goals.
• Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, equipment logs, meeting minutes).
• Develop constructions schedules and manpower plans.
• Conduct pre-construction, progress, and close-out meetings.
• Interface with inspectors and ensure permits and fees are obtained.
• Track material deliveries and adjust schedules as needed to maintain progress.
• Prepare and manage budgets, cost forecasts, and billing schedules.
• Review, estimate, and process change orders.
• Support positive cash flow and assist with project close-out analysis.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for all project phases.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Service, and Field Operations teams.
• Identify and resolve project issues or conflicts efficiently.

PositionSummary

Qualifications
