Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks an experienced Fire Systems Project Manager to lead low voltage system projects, ensuring sound design, seamless installation, and quality commissioning. You will work closely with sales, installation teams, and clients to manage budgets, schedules, and staff performance.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and two to five years of experience in fire detection/suppression and project management within the fire and security industry, plus NFPA72

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience with commercial fire detection/fire suppression systems.
• Two to five years of experience as a project manager in the fire and security industry.
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA72 code requirements.
• Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment within schedule and budget.
• Review design drawings for conformance with regulations and standards.
• Provide guidance to field operations and engineering teams.
• Manage project schedules and manpower forecasts.
• Interface with customers including contractors, end users, and fire marshals.
• Coordinate installations and commissioning for assigned projects.
• Perform field surveys.
• Read and interpret system designs on blueprints and project specifications.
• Estimate and propose change orders on projects.
• Provide monthly budget updates including cost to completes.
• Manage job costs, billing, and gross margins.
