Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions in Orlando, FL is seeking a Fire Systems Project Manager to lead low voltage system projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate the field team, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to budgets and code requirements.

You will review drawings for compliance, provide guidance to field operations and engineering teams, and interface with customers, contractors, and fire marshals to deliver sound designs and professional installations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience with commercial fire detection/systems.
• 2–5 years as a project manager in the fire and security industry.
• NICET II certification and strong NFPA72 knowledge.
• Customer-focused with strong project and people management skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
• OSHA safety standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment within schedule and budget.
• Review designs for conformance with regulations, standards, and specifications.
• Support field operations and engineering teams with guidance and expertise.
• Manage project schedules and manpower forecasting.
• Interface with customers, contractors, end users, and fire marshals.
• Coordinate installations and commissioning for assigned projects.
• Estimate change orders and provide monthly budget updates.
• Monitor job costs and ensure gross margins.
