Job summary

Firetrol Protection Systems, Inc. in Beaumont, TX, is seeking a Fire Systems Helper to join our team of professionals.

You will assist with routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire protection systems under supervision. Responsibilities include aiding diagnoses, documenting inspection findings, assisting with installation and service of fire alarm equipment, and supporting technicians during troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining, inspecting and repairing fire protection systems preferred but training provided.
• Must be able to satisfy Government, Federal and Customs background check requirements.
• Must be able to work at the IAH Airport.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain any applicable state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire protection systems under supervision.
• Assist in diagnosing and evaluating systems requiring servicing and troubleshoot during inspections.
• Assist in documenting inspection findings and recommendations.
• Assist with installation and servicing of fire alarm equipment under guidance of licensed technicians.
• Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and employees in a respectful, professional manner.
