Job summary

Firetrol Protection Systems, Inc. is seeking a Fire Systems Helper to join our team of professionals serving the Beaumont area. You will assist in routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire protection systems under direct supervision.

Training will be provided; a valid driver’s license is preferred and the ability to obtain state licenses is required. Some overtime, nights, weekends and on-call hours may be required.

Qualifications

• No formal credentials required; training provided.
• Must be able to obtain any applicable state licenses.
• A current Driver's License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire protection systems under direct supervision.
• Assist in diagnosing and evaluating systems that require servicing and assist in troubleshooting issues during inspections.
• Assist in the documentation of inspection findings and recommendations.
• Assist with installation of fire alarm equipment and service, repair and maintenance of fire alarm systems under direct supervision of a licensed technician.
• Assist with diagnosing and evaluating industrial fire protection systems and troubleshoot issues under direct supervision of a licensed Fire Alarm Technician.
• Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and employees in a respectful, professional manner.
• Some overtime, nights, weekends and on-call hours may be required.
