Travel Requirements: This position reports to our Wilmington branch and involves remote work as a traveling technician throughout the USA. Travel is expected to be 80% of the time.

Job Summary: A Fire Suppression Service Technician inspects, tests, maintains, and repairs kitchen hood fire suppression systems in various facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and tests on fire suppression systems per NFPA 17, NFPA 96, and other standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on system components, including cylinders, nozzles, release mechanisms, and control panels.
• Test and recharge agent cylinders, ensuring proper pressurization and filling.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, implementing corrective actions per NFPA requirements.
• Repair and replace system components to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with clients for service scheduling and system improvement recommendations.
• Inspect and maintain gas cylinders, including hydrostatic testing and reinstallation.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly.
• Document all activities accurately using the Service Trade platform.
• Work with Deficiency Sellers on inspection reports and repair estimates.
• Interact professionally with clients and schedule work efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment following safety protocols.
