Job description

We are currently hiring a Suppression Installer/Service Technician to maintain the growing suppression department, performing inspection, service, and repair of clean agent suppression systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or inspect various types of gas suppression systems.
• Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during an inspection.
• Make recommendations based on manufacturer specifications and state/local national codes.
• Meet customer expectations while performing quality service.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Maintain proper stock of equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Inform all customers of deficiencies and upgrades using the Fire Protection Deficiency Report.
• Survey target accounts for marketing follow‑up.
• Perform all DOT‑required safety practices paperwork.
• Complete all paperwork in a professional manner.
• Attend all required training and/or meetings.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience with gas suppression systems.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive; applicant must be 18 years or older.
• Customer service experience.
• Physical ability to carry and move equipment and tools up to 50 pounds.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Self‑starter who can work with little to no supervision.
• Preferred: Nicet Level II certification in suppression, NAFED suppression certification.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate: $21–$30 (based on education, experience, and market data). This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted rate reflects the target compensation; exceptional candidates may be considered beyond the range.
