Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in risk management, insurance, business administration, finance or related field.
• 5+ years of commercial P&C underwriting experience, especially with fire protection or specialty contractor risks.
• Experience underwriting for MGA/MGU, wholesale broker, or E&S carrier preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal commercial property and casualty business per guidelines and program objectives.
• Analyze submissions, loss runs, exposures, and supporting docs to evaluate risk quality.
• Develop and manage broker relationships to structure creative insurance solutions.
• Maintain underwriting documentation and support program performance.
