Job summary

State Fire Idaho is seeking a motivated Fire Suppression Installer & Fire Extinguisher/Suppression Service Technician to join our team in Pocatello, ID. You will work on portable extinguishers, suppression systems for kitchens and automotive/vehicle applications, and perform inspections to NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Comfortable using mobile reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and recharge portable fire extinguishers.
• Test, maintain, and repair suppression systems for commercial kitchens.
• Test, maintain, and repair vehicle suppression systems.
• Complete inspections to NFPA standards.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and customer documentation.
• Provide dependable service reflecting State Fire Idaho’s commitment to safety and quality.
