Job summary

State Fire in Idaho is seeking a Fire Extinguisher/Hood Suppression Technician to join our field team. You will inspect, service, and repair commercial kitchen suppression systems and extinguishers, with training provided.

Travel to customer sites, work on ladders and in varying conditions, and maintain accurate reports on an iPad. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently.
• Strong communication skills in English-both written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime and travel overnight when needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and repair commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
• Perform annual testing and maintenance of fire extinguishers.
• Inspect and maintain emergency and exit lighting.
• Complete inspection reports and daily paperwork using a company-provided iPad.
• Service existing clientele and build new relationships to grow the customer base.
