Job summary

Design Hire LLC is seeking a Fire Suppression System Designer to develop code-compliant fire protection systems for commercial and industrial construction projects. This role emphasizes strong AutoSPRINK and Revit experience, BIM modeling, and coordination across trades from design through permitting and fabrication.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency with AutoSPRINK and Revit, with comprehensive BIM modeling skills and the ability to coordinate multi-trade models on complex projects,

Qualifications

Experience designing fire suppression or fire sprinkler systems.
Proficiency with AutoSPRINK.
Strong Revit and BIM modeling experience.
Working knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 13D, NFPA 13R and related fire protection codes.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and architectural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Design fire suppression systems, including sprinkler layouts, piping arrangements, and coordinated BIM models.
Perform hydraulic calculations to verify system performance, pipe sizing, water flow, and pressure requirements.
Develop fabrication drawings, material lists, and permit submittal packages for AHJ review.
Coordinate Revit models with structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams to resolve clashes before installation.
Review project specifications and NFPA standards to produce accurate, constructible designs.
