DC Army National Guard is seeking a Fire Support Specialist to join an elite field artillery team. You will provide intelligence to support infantry and tank units in combat operations while learning highly sought-after skills for civilian careers.

As you advance, you will train others, prepare target lists, initiate suppressive fire, and man observation posts. Earn while you learn with paid training, modest drill weekend pay, and education benefits such as tuition assistance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide intelligence to support infantry and tank units in combat operations.
• Act as the eyes of an artillery unit with target acquisition and relaying information to artillery units.
• Operate communications equipment, laser range finders, and assist in fire support planning.
