Job summary

Firetrol Protection Systems in Salt Lake City seeks a Fire Sprinkler Training Foreman to guide entry level technicians through the fundamentals of fire sprinkler systems and life safety installations.

You will demonstrate safe, efficient, and code compliant practices, oversee on-the-job training, and assess progress to ensure readiness for certification and advanced responsibilities within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Work experience, training or education in the installation of fire sprinkler systems is a plus.
• May work in a variety of business and institutions including commercial, industrial, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, education and government facilities.
• Knowledge of foam and fire pumps is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Introduce entry level employees into the fire protection industry.
• Demonstrate safe, efficient, quality, and code compliant installations to new employees.
• Provide training opportunities for new employees. (Wheels of Learning / State certification)
• Evaluate progress of new employees.
