Job summary

Marmic Fire & Safety Co. is seeking a Sprinkler Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

You will perform detailed inspections to ensure NFPA-compliant systems and coordinate repairs to optimize performance. The role requires NICET 1 IT&M water-based systems, Backflow certification, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• NICET 1 IT&M water-based systems certification.
• Backflow certification.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and professional attitude.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, welding and soldering equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with codes and NFPA standards.
• Identify and document system deficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs; coordinate major repairs or upgrades.
• Select pipe sizes, measure and assemble piping, and secure joints.
