gpac is partnering with a well-established fire protection contractor in Raleigh, NC to recruit a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Technician. The role offers hands-on installation, testing, and service of commercial and residential sprinkler systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of field experience, NICET Level I or higher, and a solid knowledge of NFPA codes, blueprints, and safety protocols. Travel to sites is required, and a strong teamwork mindset is essential.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience installing, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
  • Knowledge of fire sprinkler components, piping, and system testing procedures.
  • Understanding of NFPA codes and local fire protection standards.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel to job sites and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and service fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings.
