Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Houston seeks a skilled Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, conducting testing, documenting activities, coordinating with inspectors and customers, and supporting on-call requests. Requirements: high school diploma and 3+ years experience; NICET preferred; able to read drawings; OSHA safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 3+ years of fire sprinkler service or installation experience.
• NICET certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and sprinkler systems.

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
• Diagnose system issues and identify required repairs or corrective actions.
• Conduct system testing, flushing, and functional checks.
• Document service activities, deficiencies, and corrective actions accurately.
• Communicate system status and service needs with customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with inspectors, project managers, and other technicians as needed.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and inventory.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Support emergency and on-call service requests as required.
