Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Duluth, GA seeks a skilled fire sprinkler service technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes. The role requires reading drawings and interpreting specifications to plan effective repairs.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing testing, documenting actions, and coordinating with inspectors and project managers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and 3+ years of fire sprinkler service or installation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and NFPA standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret system drawings and specifications.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • NICET certification preferred (or ability to obtain).

  • Communicate system status and service needs with customers and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with inspectors, project managers, and other technicians as needed.
  • Maintain service vehicles, tools, and inventory.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Support emergency and on-call service requests as required.

Education and Experience

Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, crouching/bending, climbing ladders, and working at heights; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; exposure to varying weather conditions, mechanical systems, and active facilities; overtime and on-call rotation may be required.
