Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician in Seattle to lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install fire sprinkler systems and maintain piping and fixtures. You will work with blueprints, mentor apprentices, and ensure vehicle and equipment readiness.

The role requires 3–5 years' experience with piping systems, a valid Fire Sprinkler License, and strong math/mechanical skills; travel and teamwork are part of the job. Training and safety compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred.
• Current Fire Sprinkler License required.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe systems and valves according to specifications.
• Cut, thread, assemble and bond piping and tubes per blueprints.
• Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings.
• Remove and replace worn components.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Mentor apprentices and helpers on installation techniques.
• Ensure company vehicle is clean and maintained.
• Other duties may be assigned.
