Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Support Technician to assist with installations, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems. You will learn industry standards and safety procedures under direct supervision while supporting field technicians on active job sites.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety policies, and ongoing learning to grow within the company’s fire protection division.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No minimum experience is required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license (if driving is required).

• Assist service technicians with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment under direct supervision.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Observe and learn proper service and repair techniques.
• Support documentation and reporting processes as directed.
• Work collaboratively with team members on active job sites.
• Perform tasks as directed does not independently perform jobs.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

The Fire Sprinkler Support Technician assists technicians in installations of fire sprinkler systems. The Support Technician works under direct supervision and assists with basic tasks while learning industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.
