Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Irving, Texas, is seeking a Sprinkler Install Support Technician. Under direct supervision you’ll assist with basic tasks while learning installation standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting installation teams on commercial sites, handling hand tools, transporting materials, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No minimum experience required.
• Able to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license.

The Sprinkler Install Support Technician assists in the installation of fire sprinkler systems. The Support Technician works under direct supervision and assists with basic tasks while learning industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Use hand tools and equipment under direct supervision.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Observe and learn proper installation techniques.
• Support documentation and reporting processes as directed.
• Work collaboratively with team members on active job sites.
• Perform tasks as directed and does not independently perform jobs.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No minimum experience required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Other Duties

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
