Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Raleigh, NC seeks an experienced technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems to ensure NFPA compliance and safe facility operation.

You will diagnose issues, perform testing, and coordinate with inspectors and customers, with on-call rotation and adherence to OSHA safety policies. Requires 3+ years in fire sprinkler service or installation; High school diploma; NICET preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of fire sprinkler service or installation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and codes.
• NICET certification preferred (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems (wet/dry/pre-action/deluge).
• Inspect, test, and repair backflow prevention assemblies; troubleshoot failures and complete repairs.
• Diagnose system issues and identify required repairs or corrective actions.
• Conduct system testing, flushing, and functional checks.
• Document service activities, deficiencies, and corrective actions accurately.
• Communicate system status and service needs with customers and internal teams.
