Job summary

Century Fire Protection LLC is seeking an experienced fire sprinkler technician to service, maintain, and repair sprinkler systems across our Duluth-area projects. You will read drawings, interpret NFPA standards, and troubleshoot system issues to ensure safety and code compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in the field, a high school diploma, and NICET certification preferred or the ability to obtain it. Expect field work, vehicle maintenance, and occasional on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 3+ years in fire sprinkler service or installation.
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings and specifications.
• NICET certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems (wet/dry/pre-action/deluge).
• Inspect and test backflow prevention assemblies and perform repairs.
• Diagnose issues and identify required repairs or actions.
• Conduct system testing, flushing, and functional checks.
• Document activities, deficiencies, and corrective actions accurately.
• Communicate system status and needs with customers and teams.
• Coordinate with inspectors, PMs, and other technicians as needed.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and inventory.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety policies.
• Support emergency and on-call service requests.
