Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Tech in Pennsylvania to install all forms of fire sprinkler systems and components. The role emphasizes NFPA-based standards and effective communication with Designers, Project Managers, and General Contractors.

You will read blueprints, install, retrofit, and service systems, while coordinating with onsite teams and ensuring safety and quality on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Enrolled in Sprinkler Apprentice Program.
• Able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.
• Install new, retrofits, and tenant improvement type projects.
• Cut, thread, and groove pipe to specifications using appropriate tools.
• Coordinate with onsite contractors and trades to resolve conflicts.
• Assist with job scheduling and progress with focus on quality and efficiency.
• Modify designs to ensure code compliance and provide guidance to the team.
• Support other field installers and maintain Sciens safety programs.
