Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is seeking a skilled technician to perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems across various applications. Job description

Job Overview

Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including brief descriptions of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications, including wet (steel, copper, CPVC), dry, pre‑action, deluge systems, and fire pumps.

How you will do it

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
• Work independently, following prescribed troubleshooting procedures and referring to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, bulletins, modification notices, etc. to diagnose and repair equipment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair on Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
• Computer/phone skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, and mobile apps and functions.
• Ability to perform service work on all water‑based fire protection systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Flexible hours including weekends and potential overnight travel.
• Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
• Adhere to and implement safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs, working in unusual and difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high‑lift equipment up to 60ft, within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
• Must be able to read and understand all safety requirements of the company and the customer.
• Preferred: NICET certification.
• Preferred: Backflow certification.
• Preferred: Fire pump experience.

Hourly range: $28.70 – $39.47 (determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and market data).
