Sciens Building Solutions is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Service Tech to service all types of fire sprinkler systems and components. The role emphasizes problem solving, precise inspections, and clear communication with customers and leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Enrolled in Sprinkler Apprentice Program.
• Working knowledge of wet, dry, and pre-action systems.
• NFPA 13 code understanding.
• Ability to read and install from fire system design drawings and documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of wet, dry, pre-action, fire pumps, and standpipes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair and/or replace faulty components.
• Diagnose problems and implement fixes to ensure proper functioning.
• Test and verify system functionality to NFPA standards and local codes.
• Complete detailed reports on tests, inspections, service work, and issues found.
• Communicate with customers professionally to minimize disruptions and provide updates.
• Order replacement parts and materials as needed and manage on-site inventory.
