Job summary

Siemens Mobility in the Hartford area is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service, repair, and inspect water-based systems in accordance with national and local standards. You will mentor entry-level inspectors and contribute to a culture of growth on the team.

You will inspect wet/dry/pre-action/deluge systems, document deficiencies, follow reporting processes on-site, and maintain documentation, tools, and vehicle stock in line with corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Technician endorsement for automatic sprinkler system maintenance inspection.
• Connecticut F1 or F2 journeyman's license.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments around mechanical equipment and heights, including ladders and scaffolds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems and associated components.
• Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems and water-based equipment.
• Document deficiencies/impairments and report on-site.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of work performed.
• Manage vehicle stock, tools, and equipment and follow corporate vehicle policies.
