The role requires hands-on work with wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, plus documentation and on-site reporting to ensure code compliance. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of water-based equipment repair experience, a valid driver's license, and must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with repair of water-based equipment
• Able to work in environments around mechanical equipment, including ladders and high-lift equipment
• Must be 18+ and have a valid driver's license
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• 3+ years experience with repair of water-based equipment
• NICET I inspection and testing of water-based systems

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow preventers, fire hydrants, and fire pumps
• Perform fire sprinkler, fire pump and other water-based equipment inspections and testing
• Document deficiencies/impairments noted during inspections or service work and follow required process of reporting deficiencies while on-site
• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed
• Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment; follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and care
