Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an entry-level helper to assist the fire sprinkler service team in installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire protection systems on job sites. You will support technicians, transport tools, and help ensure safety and compliance with NFPA standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and are willing to learn under senior technicians; basic computer skills and comfort with fieldwork are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; prior experience in construction, plumbing, or mechanical work is helpful but not required.
• Basic computer skills for logging work, using mobile devices, and accessing training materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist service technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems, including pipe cutting, threading, and assembly.
• Transport and organize tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Support service technicians during inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites and in company vehicles.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, ladders, and other equipment.
• Learn fire protection system components, NFPA standards, and company procedures under guidance of senior technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the service team.
