Century Fire Protection is seeking a Sales Representative to promote, estimate and sell fire protection sprinkler systems, repairs and upgrades to existing and new clients. The role requires strong estimating and relationship-building across commercial projects.

Responsibilities include pursuing prospects, determining customer needs, closing sales, and managing projects from small to multi-million dollar values. Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years fire sprinkler estimating/sales.
• Familiar with reading blueprints and NFPA 13, 14, 20; local codes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Establish contact with prospects and qualify buyers by scheduling calls and following leads.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for the company's offerings.
• Close sales to exceed objectives and build relationships with clients and GC/end users.
• Estimate projects from small to large ($100k-$1MM+) and manage change orders.
• Attend job walks and construction meetings as needed.

Summary

Responsibilities for Sales Representative is to promote, estimate and sell fire protection sprinkler systems, repairs and upgrades to existing and new clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings.
• Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
• Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users.
• Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to large projects ranging from $100k-$1MM+.
• Manage projects as needed (i.e. change orders, field issues) and attend job walks and construction meetings as needed.
• Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Fire Protection Business

Education And/or Experience

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years Fire Sprinkler Estimating/Sales or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, and 20 standards and local codes.

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
