Job summary

Century Fire Protection is hiring for a hands-on role installing and repairing fire sprinkler systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings across the Southeast. Helpers assist in laying out piping, connecting components, and attaching sprinkler heads in accordance with codes and specifications.

Pre-employment drug screening is required and overtime may be required. Our team emphasizes safety, training, and growth opportunities within a large, established company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or 0–6 months related experience or training.
• Pre-employment drug screens; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial, residential buildings, and industrial applications in compliance with current codes.
• Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications.
• Lay out strings along designated pipeline settings in field; connects pipe and tightens collars.
• Attach revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate safety hazards and discrepancies to foreman/superintendent; keep work area clean and safe.
