Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Houston is seeking a field technician to assist in the installation of wet, dry, pre‑action and deluge fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial, residential and industrial applications. You will lay out pipes, connect fittings, and install sprinkler heads while coordinating with the foreman and maintaining safety on site.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED; 0–6 months of related experience or training is acceptable, with pre-employment

• Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications.
• Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.

Summary

Additional Requirements

Pre‑employment drug screens; overtime may be required.

Education and/or Experience
