Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an entry-level helper to assist in installing and maintaining fire protection piping and sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. You will work under supervision to lay out pipe, connect fittings, and install sprinkler heads while following safety policies on job sites in Houston, TX.

High School Diploma or GED is required, with 0–6 months related experience or training. Pre-employment drug screens may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications.
• Lay out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connect pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attach revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.
