Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Denver, CO seeks a Sprinkler Inspector to perform building sprinkler inspections, test devices, record results, and produce reports. You will support the Lead Inspector and Inspection Manager with data collection and paperwork.

The role requires NICET Level 2, CSA Sprinkler, and NFPA knowledge; strong communication and teamwork; and proficiency with Palm devices and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with related experience.
• NICET Level 2 in Water Based System Inspections required.
• CSA Sprinkler certification and NFPA knowledge desirable.
• Clean driving record and ability to learn codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspections timely and accurately.
• Test sprinkler panels, devices and functions; log results on Palm.
• Download data and generate Sprinkler Inspection Reports.
• Exhibit excellent written and oral communication; customer focused.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Be punctual for tests before tenant arrivals.
• Use testing gear: sensitivity meters, multi-meters, battery analyzers, sound meters.
• Maintain PC skills: Outlook, Word, Excel; Palm; ServiceTrade OS.
• Attend monthly team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
