Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC has an immediate opening for Fire Sprinkler Inspector. Fire Sprinkler Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Fire Sprinkler, Clean Agent and Special Hazard Fire Protection Systems.

You will perform routine service and maintenance tasks on wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire protection systems and safety standards.
• Ability to inspect, test and maintain sprinkler equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service and maintenance tasks on wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Identify and diagnose issues with fire suppression systems.
• Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Manage job scheduling and job progress in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a strong focus on quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally, educating customers on system functionality and safety procedures.
• Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
• Demonstrate understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment, trucks, lifts, tools, etc.
