Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to perform inspection and maintenance tasks and work with sales and field teams to ensure code-compliant systems. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication are essential.

The role involves reviewing layouts, coordinating with contractors, producing surveys, and delivering reports and inventories while ensuring on-time, on-budget project completion. OSHA awareness and travel as needed are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Enrolled in Sprinkler Apprentice Program.
• NICET level I or site-specific equipment certification preferred.
• Certified in backflow inspection and repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review system layouts and coordinate with systems and service departments for project execution.
• Coordinate with onsite contractors.
• Produce field surveys and daily project activity logs.
• Inspect and maintain fire sprinkler systems.
• Prepare inspection and deficiency reports per NFPA.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Log and transmit inspection reports via laptop.
• Oversee project and vehicle inventory.
