Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions seeks a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to inspect and maintain sprinkler systems, coordinate with sales and field teams, and ensure code-compliance. You will generate field surveys, logs, and deficiency reports while guiding junior inspectors and ensuring on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Applicants need 2+ years in Fire/Life Safety, NFPA knowledge, and a willingness to travel. NICET I or equivalent certs preferred; OSH A10 or ability-to-certify desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in Fire and Life Safety industry.
• Enrolled in Sprinkler Apprentice Program.
• NFPA 13 knowledge and sprinkler components understanding.
• Credentials: NICET I or equivalent, backflow cert preferred.
• Ability to read fire system design drawings and reports.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Review system layouts and coordinate with systems/service teams.
• Communicate and coordinate with onsite contractors.
• Produce field surveys and daily project activity logs.
• Inspect and maintain fire sprinkler systems.
• Produce inspection and deficiency reports per NFPA.
• Deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Log and transmit inspection reports via laptop.
• Oversee project inventory and vehicle inventory.
• Provide guidance to other inspectors.
• Manage job scheduling and progress with focus on quality.
• Adhere to Sciens safety programs and procedures.
