Job summary

Century Fire Protection in the Southeast seeks a fire sprinkler inspector to perform routine inspections and testing of wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge systems to NFPA 25 standards. You will verify operation, document findings, and communicate results to customers and internal teams.

Requirements: 3–5 years of field inspection experience, knowledge of NFPA 25 and local codes; NICET Level II or higher certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience inspecting fire sprinkler systems or working in the fire protection industry.
• Knowledge of NFPA 25, building codes, and fire protection systems.
• NICET Level II or higher certification in Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge).
• Verify proper operation, water flow, pressure, valves, and alarm functionality per NFPA 25 and local codes.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain organized documentation.
• Communicate inspection results and recommendations to customers and internal project managers.
• Coordinate with service technicians for repairs or corrective actions as needed.

Division 86 - Winder, GASummaryResponsible for performing routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company policies; working independently in the field to verify system integrity, identify deficiencies, and provide accurate documentation for customers and internal teams.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
