Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to inspect and maintain fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards. You will work closely with our sales and field teams, coordinating with onsite contractors and producing field surveys and daily activity logs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years in Fire and Life Safety, and enrollment in the Sprinkler Apprentice Program. Expect travel, site visits, and a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Sprinkler Apprentice Program enrollment is preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 and sprinkler components is expected.

Responsibilities

• Review system layouts and coordinate with systems and service departments for project success.
• Communicate with onsite contractors and produce field surveys daily.
• Inspect and maintain fire sprinkler systems and prepare NFPA-based reports.
• Deliver projects on schedule and within budgets; log reports via laptop.
• Oversee project and vehicle inventory; support other inspectors.
• Schedule jobs and monitor progress with a focus on quality and cost.

THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELLSciens Building Solutions is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to provide inspection and maintenance capabilities. This position will work closely with our sales team, field project teams, and clients to ensure our customers’ systems are inspected and maintained in a code-compliant manner. This is a key position for our growing team and requires attention to detail in all aspects of executing projects. Customer and employee interface requires a high degree of effective human relations.
