Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to perform inspection and maintenance to ensure code compliance. You will work with sales, field teams, and clients to deliver accurate field surveys and thorough deficiency reports. A strong focus on safety, scheduling, and cost control is required.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in fire safety, and NICET I certification, plus knowledge of NFPA standards. Occasional travel and physical work are involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active enrollment in Sprinkler Apprentice Program.
• NICET Level I certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
• Ability to read fire system design drawings and understand NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Review system layouts and coordinate with systems and service departments.
• Communicate and coordinate with onsite contractors.
• Produce field surveys and daily project activity logs.
• Inspect and maintain fire sprinkler systems.
• Prepare detailed inspection and deficiency reports per NFPA.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budgets.
• Log and transmit inspection reports via laptop.
• Oversee project scheduling and progress with cost focus.
• Comply with safety programs and company policies.

THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELLSciens Building Solutions is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Inspector to provide inspection and maintenance capabilities. This position will work closely with our sales team, field project teams, and clients to ensure our customers’ systems are inspected and maintained in a code-compliant manner. This is a key position for our growing team and requires attention to detail in all aspects of executing projects. Customer and employee interface requires a high degree of effective human relations.
