Job summary

SciensBuilding Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman in Jacksonville, FL to install and retrofit fire sprinkler systems per NFPA standards. You will read blueprints, supervise piping installations, and coordinate with designers, project managers, and the general contractor to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires at least five years in Fire and Life Safety, an apprentice-foreman level track, and the ability to travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• NFPA knowledge including NFPA 14, 20, 24, 25.
• Ability to read and install from fire system drawings and BIM designs.
• Excellent coordination with general contractor and AHJ.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to install sprinkler piping.
• Lead installation of new, retrofit, and tenant-improvement projects.
• Cut, thread, and groove pipe to spec using tools.
• Coordinate with contractors to resolve field conflicts.
• Manage job scheduling and progress with focus on quality and safety.
• Provide guidance to field installers and helpers.
