Job summary
Sciens Building Solutions in Virginia is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead installation of wet, dry, and pre‑action systems on new and retrofit projects. You will read blueprints, coordinate with AHJ and contractors, and ensure safety and NFPA compliance.
Ideal candidates have five years in Fire and Life Safety, completed Sprinkler Apprenticeship (4th year Foreman), and relevant certifications.
Qualifications
- Five+ years in Fire and Life Safety industry.
- Sprinkler Apprenticeship completed through 4th year Foreman Course.
- Strong NFPA 14/20/24/25 knowledge.
- Able to read BIM designs and install from drawings.
- Willing to travel occasionally overnight.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to install sprinkler piping.
- Lead installation on new, retrofit, and tenant-improvement projects.
- Coordinate with contractors to resolve field conflicts.
- Manage scheduling and progress with emphasis on safety and quality.
- Provide guidance and training to other field installers.
