Job summary

Century Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field crews and oversee the installation of fire sprinkler systems in Charlotte, NC. This hands‑on leadership role rewards pride in quality work and a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will supervise crews, lay out piping, train helpers, coordinate with designers, produce daily progress reports, and participate in project meetings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related fire sprinkler experience and/or training.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler installation and field practices.
• Clean MVR and successful pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews installing pipe, fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers according to plans and codes.
• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain sprinkler piping systems.
• Train and mentor Fitters and Helpers on installation techniques.
• Communicate with designers regarding design changes and material shortages.
• Produce accurate red-line drawings for the design team.
• Coordinate project and schedule changes with Field Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Complete daily progress reports and required project paperwork.
• Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.
• Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.

Century Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field crews and oversee the installation of fire sprinkler systems. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows the trade, takes pride in quality work, and keeps projects moving safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews installing pipe, fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers according to plans and applicable codes.
• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain fire sprinkler piping systems.
• Train and mentor Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
• Communicate with designers regarding design changes and material shortages.
• Produce accurate red-line drawings for the design team.
• Communicate project and schedule changes with Field Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Complete daily progress reports and required project paperwork.
• Attend project and coordination meetings as needed.
• Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.
• Immediately report water damage, injuries, accidents, or other incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of related fire sprinkler experience and/or training.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler installation and field practices.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Basic computer and email skills.
• Clean MVR required.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
