Fire Sprinkler Fitter Position

As a Fire Sprinkler Fitter for AFPG, and a valued member of the UA Local Union, you will play a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in diverse types of buildings, ensuring they meet all safety codes and standards. You will work alongside a skilled team, utilizing your expertise to assess blueprints, select appropriate materials, and provide high-quality craftsmanship to protect lives and property from fire damage. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem‑solving skills and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of workmanship and safety as outlined by the union and our company.

Job Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain all types of fixed extinguishing systems, including underground piping.
  • Responsible for installing and servicing other fire protection equipment such as standpipes, carbon dioxide systems, halon systems, foam systems, and dry chemical systems.
  • Travel to work on various locations/job sites as necessary.
  • Comply with union collective bargaining agreement.
Job Qualifications
  • Willing to become a member of the UA Local Union.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; in accordance with company policy.

  • Must pass a post‑offer drug test and background check, if applicable.
